The Neurosurgery Interest Group is comprised of medical students with a shared goal to foster interest, education, and involvement in the field of Neurosurgery among students at the Aristotle University School of Medicine.
The group’s activities include hosting interest meetings and case discussions, coordinating hands-on neurosurgical skills workshops, supporting student-led and departmental research, and promoting scholarly activity through attendance and presentations at regional and national neurosurgical conferences. Additionally, the group facilitates opportunities to engage with faculty and guest lecturers through local academic events, mentorship, and shadowing. Through these efforts, the group aims to inspire early interest in neurosurgery among students.
